Last week family trip back to Taiping for our usual "cheng meng" like many previous years but lesser peeps tag along from time to time ;/. I remember when i was little, trip to Taiping was always the more the merrier. Uncles and Aunts would drive in a stretch of 7-8 cars [O.o] along the highway. 7-8 hotel rooms in a row too. Then we would be food scouting from KL to Ipoh to Taiping back to Ipoh to KL again. All those warm memories filled with joy and laughter =D ! Our crowd was always the busiest making noises everywhere we go that it creates happy smiley to outsiders around us too, street people, shops owner, restaurant workers, hawkers etc. and even monkeys were made fun by us haha.

Anyway, daddy start our journey midnite, after i came home from Zouk >.< (I know but it was pre-planned to go midnite larh, so you shaddap)....we reached as early as 7am @.@ and headed straight for Breakfast ? NO. Terus go visit my grandpa and other ancestors lar...respect ? No lorh, kite afraid of the hot burning sun that will flame our butt larh ! ;P

After that only go mam mam ! My much love hor-funs. Very shedap ! The same ol shop, same ol aunties (the cook), the same ol taste. =) Yes. i forgot the name of the shop, i only know how to get there, sorry terlalu happy to take the name...next year okay ? heh.

And must eat with this super duper yummy hot and spicy keng sambal belacan !
And super tangy bouncy fish/meat balls plus slurpy tasty chicken soup.....

We went back to hotel for bath (boi, we were smelly and sweaty) and sweet nap (oooo, me merely drop-dead-gorgeous on the comfy king size bed ... ^^)

Then got up, went makan again at 4pm, tea konon but wollup on mee-rebus (heaven !), char-kuehteow (this i must say you can never ever find it elsewhere in your nearest town unless Taiping), apom, O-chien, ice-longan we called it 'leng-gheng', kuih-muih, etc. ;P
i called it three-layers kuih....melts my mouth lalala ~
i have no idea why but my sis thinks this is funny, she asked me to snap it -?-

While we were walking back ...i came across a street named " Jalan Boo Bee " hahaha cute like lollipoooop ! And these...

Then we went strolling along the lake, yes the Taiping lake i like so much...so breezing and breath taking, leaves many many sweet memories too. And we made fun of the monkeys to entertain us again ! nyahaha.
note : monkeys not abuse just fed with papayas and lime biscuits.

We definitely had a great filling dinner in Matang. Fish, crabby, prawny and veges. No photos cos i was lazy. teehee. The next day after lunch we headed back but daddy wanna eat seafood in Sekinchan so we rock on the old road to home. Aku tired from travellin so aku sleep along the journey cos it was so damn long.....poor daddy (we love you larh ~)
